• You will weld steel sheets with a thickness of 3–20 mm in tank construction in accordance with drawings and specifications
• You will fabricate large vessels with a diameter of up to 4 m through precise welding work
• You will carry out welding work on sheet metal in the vertical (PA) and horizontal (PB) positions
• You will weld pipe joints both in a fixed position and with a vertical or horizontal axis
• You will read and interpret technical drawings to ensure the welding work is carried out professionally
• Inside enclosed vessels, you carry out welding work in confined spaces whilst wearing a breathing apparatus and using a fresh air supply
• You check your welds for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Before welding, you prepare the workpieces, for example by tack-welding and aligning the components
• You work closely with colleagues from the vessel and pipework construction departments to coordinate production processes

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a construction fitter (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d) with relevant welding experience
• You have experience in tank construction, shipbuilding, wind turbine construction or the pipework sector
• Valid welding certificates (E-Hand 111 + MAG) are an advantage
• You are confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• You have a basic command of spoken German (minimum level) to facilitate communication
• A valid work permit completes your profile
