• You will be responsible for the professional assembly and disassembly of complex mechanical components and sub-assemblies for specialised defence vehicles
• In addition, you will process sheet metal, sections and heavy structural components by straightening, bending, cutting and grinding in accordance with technical drawings
• Furthermore, you will carry out MAG and TIG welding on high-strength fine-grained structural steels and complex armoured steel structures
• Your tasks will include preparing the weld seams, tacking the components and the professional post-weld treatment of the welded joints are part of your responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will independently carry out dimensional and fit checks as part of the worker’s self-inspection process to ensure compliance with extreme safety standards
• Furthermore, you will support quality control and carry out any necessary rework on complex welded and bolted structures

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a construction fitter (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or a comparable metalworking qualification
• you also have extensive experience in welding armour steel and reading complex technical drawings
• You are distinguished by your valid welding certificates for the MAG or TIG processes and your confident use of measuring equipment
• You have good to very good written and spoken German skills to ensure smooth documentation
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
• Finally, you impress with your strong safety awareness, reliability and a willingness to work in a flexible three-shift system
