Your responsibilities You will carry out welding work in accordance with drawings and work instructions, e.g. using the MAG, MIG, TIG or manual arc welding processes You will prepare workpieces by cutting, fitting and tack-welding them You will check the welds for quality and dimensional accuracy You will operate and maintain welding systems and equipment independently You will read technical drawings and welding plans and implement them precisely You will carry out weld inspections, such as visual inspections and, where necessary, other testing methods You will ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards in all your work You will carefully document the work carried out What we’re looking for You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), metal fabricator (m/f/d), machining mechanic (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification You have experience in MAG, MIG, TIG or manual arc welding You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them You have a good command of written and spoken German Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you You are a team player, committed, reliable and work independently and safely A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
