Job description

  • You will analyse faults, weaknesses and malfunctions in plant and equipment containing mechanical components, particularly those handling flowing media
  • You will also work with the manager to determine the nature and scope of possible fault and damage rectification

Requirements

  • You have completed a relevant 3½-year vocational training programme, e.g. as a construction mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • you also hold valid welding qualifications in accordance with DIN EN 287-1 for pipes, gas pipelines, hot water and compressed air up to PN16, DN 350 mm
  • You are familiar with TIG, electric and oxy-acetylene welding for materials such as St 37-2, St 52-3 as well as stainless steels V2A–V4A, Thermax and, occasionally, cast materials are familiar to you
