• You will weld steel components and assemblies using the MIG/MAG process and stainless steel components using the TIG process
• You will fabricate welded structures in accordance with technical drawings and implement the specifications with dimensional accuracy
• You will prepare workpieces by cutting them to size, straightening them, deburring them and preparing them for welding
• You align individual parts, tack them together and assemble them into complete sub-assemblies
• You carry out welds and check them for dimensional accuracy and quality
• After welding, you finish the welds and surfaces by grinding and finishing
• You use the overhead crane to move and position workpieces and components safely
• You regularly check welding equipment, tools and work equipment and keep them in good working order
• In doing so, you comply with health and safety and quality requirements and keep your work area clean

• You have completed vocational training as a metalworker (m/f/d), construction mechanic (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or fitter (m/f/d)
• Practical work experience in metal fabrication or welding would be an advantage
• You have experience in MIG/MAG welding (steel) and/or TIG welding (stainless steel) with valid welding certificates
• You work confidently to technical drawings
• You hold a licence to operate overhead cranes
• Your work is characterised by diligence and reliability
• A basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level) and a valid work permit round off your profile
