• You prepare workpieces for welding
• You select the appropriate welding process depending on the requirements
• You carry out welding work independently and with care
• Once the welding work is complete, you carry out the post-weld treatment of the workpieces
• You work to technical drawings and implement them precisely
• You check workpieces for dimensional accuracy and the quality of the welds
• You set up your workstation and the necessary welding equipment independently
• You carry out any necessary finishing work, such as grinding or cleaning the welds, on your own initiative

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a welder (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or construction mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have a basic knowledge of welding; a welder’s certificate is not required
• You are able to work to technical drawings
• A car driving licence is essential
• You must have a good command of written and spoken German
• You are known for being reliable and able to work independently
• You are willing to work shifts in a 3-shift operation
• A valid work permit is required
