• You join metal parts together by welding to create sturdy components and assemblies
• Depending on the job, you use the MAG, MIG and TIG welding processes
• Before welding, you prepare the components by cleaning, cutting to size and securing them
• You carry out your welding work accurately and neatly in accordance with technical drawings
• You check the welds for quality and dimensional accuracy and rework them if necessary
• You set up your workstation and the welding equipment, and ensure they are in good working order
• In your work, you comply with the applicable health and safety and accident prevention regulations

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or construction mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have experience in MAG, MIG and TIG welding
• You have manual dexterity and a steady hand
• You are characterised by your technical understanding and the ability to read technical drawings
• You work accurately and with concentration, even when carrying out repetitive tasks
• A basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level) and a valid work permit round off your profile
