• You produce ingots using VIM (vacuum induction furnace), (D)ESU (Pressure-Electro-Slag Remelting) and VAR (Vacuum Arc Remelting) systems
• You inspect production plant, machinery and tools
• You assemble the raw and auxiliary materials to be used (welding consumables, electrodes, alloys, etc.) to be used and check them
• you prepare supporting and documentary records of the work process
• finally, you carry out forging work on the press (levering, setting punch mandrels, etc.)

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), a construction fitter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in computer-aided plant operation
• An operating licence for hoists and/or forklift trucks would be an advantage
• A basic knowledge of German and a valid work permit are an advantage
• You are willing to work a three-shift system (05:15–13:15, 1.15 pm–9.15 pm, 9.15 pm–5.15 am)
• You are characterised by an interest in and understanding of technical and technological processes
• You have a strong awareness of safety and quality
• Finally, you’re open-minded and a good team player
