Your responsibilities

• You will carry out welding processes professionally and ensure they are executed to a high standard
• You will carefully check detailed designs to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and standards
• You ensure that welding production always adheres to the specified quality standards
• Using your technical skills, you fabricate assemblies and steel frameworks
• You select suitable welding processes and parameters to suit the respective workpiece
• You prepare components and structures for production, align them and tack them in place
• After welding, you inspect the welds and components for dimensional accuracy and quality
• You will take on a leadership role in production and ensure that manufacturing runs smoothly
• You will independently coordinate work processes and staff deployment within your area
• You ensure compliance with health and safety and accident prevention regulations in the welding area

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), metal fabricator (m/f/d),

construction mechanic (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification

• you have in-depth knowledge of various welding processes
• you are familiar with relevant standards and guidelines in the welding sector
• you have some experience in providing technical guidance to colleagues
• Furthermore, you can read technical drawings and work to them
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• You demonstrate a willingness to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and confident approach to work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
