• You will weld assemblies and structures for shipbuilding and steel construction
• using shipbuilding steels, fine-grained steels and stainless steels – and, ideally – aluminium
• You tack and weld components in accordance with technical drawings
• You prepare weld seams professionally and check their quality
• You carry out visual inspections as part of the worker’s self-inspection process
• Together with your team, you ensure the highest quality standards
• You reliably comply with safety and quality requirements

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a fitter (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d), a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in shipbuilding, steel construction or metalworking is desirable
• You have experience in welding and knowledge of the MAG (135), flux-cored wire (136) and TIG (141 FM1), ideally also FM5 and laser hybrid (131 W22/W23)
• A crane operator’s licence would be an advantage
• You can also read technical drawings and work to them
• You have a basic command of spoken and written German
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work as part of a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and safe approach to work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
