• You will weld large steel components using the MAG process
• You will fabricate your components true to detail in accordance with technical drawings and welding instructions
• You tack the components together and align them precisely for the welding process
• You read drawings and welding instructions and implement them carefully in practice
• As part of the worker’s self-inspection process, you check tacked and welded components for quality and dimensional accuracy
• You visually inspect welds and touch them up where necessary
• You prepare workpieces and the welding workstation, ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety regulations
• You set up welding equipment and accessories and check that they are in perfect working order

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), metal fabricator (m/f/d), precision engineer (m/f/d) or construction mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have welding skills in the MAG process (135)
• You are willing to obtain the welder’s qualification certificate in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606-1 for MAG welding with us
• You can confidently read and implement technical drawings and welding instructions
• Your profile includes spoken German and a valid work permit
• You are willing to work shifts
• You work meticulously and with attention to detail, and organise your work independently
• Working safely is second nature to you
