• You will manufacture individual shipbuilding components and sections and assemble them in accordance with the specifications set out in the technical documentation
• You will apply manual and machine-based manufacturing processes in a targeted manner for different stages of the work
• You produce temporary structures to provide optimum support for fabrication and assembly
• You use testing and measuring equipment during fabrication to ensure dimensional accuracy
• You tack-weld components so that welding work can be prepared
• You consistently adhere to the relevant regulations and safety requirements

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), structural metalworker (m/f/d), construction mechanic (m/f/d) specialising in shipbuilding, or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in shipbuilding
• You also hold the welding certificates, 138 FW FM1 M t13 PD ml and 136 FW FM1 P t13 PF ml
• You’ll stand out with a crane operator’s licence
• Reading and understanding technical drawings comes naturally to you
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• Your commitment, reliability and ability to work independently and safely are your strengths
