• You will weld components using the MAG process in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Using the TIG process, you will produce clean and dimensionally accurate welded joints on thin sheet metal
• You read drawings and welding instructions and implement them in production
• Before welding, you align components, tack them in place and prepare the weld joints
• After welding, you inspect the welds visually and rectify any defects or distortion where necessary
• You liaise with colleagues and supervisors in the production department regarding work processes and quality requirements, using the relevant technical terminology
• You set up welding equipment, filler materials and shielding gases, and keep your workstation tidy
• You consistently adhere to the applicable health and safety and quality requirements in your work

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or construction mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have extensive experience in MAG welding and TIG welding of thin sheet metal
• You must be able to provide evidence of valid welding qualifications
• You can read and understand technical drawings and welding instructions with confidence
• You are known for your meticulous and dimensionally accurate work
• You have a good command of spoken German, as communication on the production floor involves technical terminology
• You work reliably and consistently adhere to health and safety and quality standards
• A valid work permit is required
