• You will manufacture and assemble large-scale steel components for industrial plants, bridge construction and special structures
• You will fabricate and machine heavy steel components in accordance with technical drawings
• You will carry out welding work (e.g. MAG or UP) on complex steel components
• You tack, align and weld structures, taking into account shape and positional tolerances
• You carry out repair and maintenance work on existing steel structures
• You operate and maintain machinery, tools and welding equipment independently
• You carry out quality checks, such as visual inspections and dimensional checks, on the manufactured components
• You will document the work steps carefully and in a traceable manner
• You will work closely with the design, work planning and quality assurance teams

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), construction mechanic (m/f/d), fitter (m/f/d) or welder (m/f/d)
• You hold verifiable welding certificates, preferably MAG 135/136
• A crane and forklift licence would be an advantage
• You have extensive experience in heavy steel construction, bridge or plant construction, or a comparable field
• You are confident in reading and understanding technical drawings
• You are characterised by manual dexterity and a high degree of precision
• Your profile includes spoken German and a valid work permit
• Ideally, you are willing to work shifts
• Teamwork, reliability and the ability to work independently come naturally to you
