• You will read technical drawings and determine the required chamfer dimensions on large metal sheets with a thickness of up to 250 mm
• Based on the drawing specifications, you will produce the chamfers for weld preparation
• You will further process the chamfers both by machine and by hand
• You will operate and monitor chamfering machines throughout the entire process
• You align the sheets correctly before machining and position them with precision
• You regularly check the dimensions and angles of the finished chamfers against the drawings
• You ensure a consistently high standard of weld preparation
• You carry out minor adjustments and maintenance work on the machines used independently
• You handle the material with care and ensure the safe transport of heavy sheet metal parts

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a design fitter (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or welding specialist (m/f/d)
• You have experience in reading and implementing technical drawings
• Ideally, you have already worked with large sheet metal or in the field of welding preparation
• You are characterised by manual dexterity and confidence in operating machinery
• Working carefully and precisely comes naturally to you
• You have the physical stamina required to work with heavy sheet metal parts
• Teamwork and reliability are among your strengths
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
