Job description

  • You will be responsible for the complete recording and professional pre-assignment of all incoming invoices in strict compliance with the company's internal accounting guidelines
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the precise allocation of all invoice documents within the internal tool to ensure a smooth and transparent workflow
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the ongoing posting processes in the Datev system and ensure complete documentation and timely processing of all financially relevant invoices

  • Your tasks will also include checking travel expense reports and reconciling accounts, while always ensuring compliance with legal and operational requirements

  • In addition, you will support the optimisation of digital processes in accounts payable in order to sustainably increase the efficiency of daily workflows and minimise sources of error

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a commer. You have successfully completed vocational training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in operational accounting, ideally gained in a project-oriented service company or an engineering office
  • You are confident in the common MS Office applications, especially Excel, and ideally initial practical experience in using the Datev accounting system characterise you
  • Your written and spoken German language skills at native speaker level are essential for daily correspondence with customers and internal communication
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of reliability and a strong affinity for numbers, which allows you to always act confidently when processing complex accounting transactions
  • In addition to your professional expertise, you will also need a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany to fulfil this responsible position
