• You will advise customers over the phone in German and English, whilst also carrying out sales-related tasks
• You will process orders, enquiries, invoices and forms from customers in the EMEA region in German and English
• You will carry out export controls in the area of spare parts and equipment processing
• You will handle export procedures and prepare the relevant shipping documents, such as export and customs documents
• You will liaise with customers by telephone and in writing to resolve their enquiries
• You will carry out cost calculations to check orders and the prices on file
• You will record complaints and process them until they are resolved
• You will forward customer orders to ensure that goods are made available on time
• You organise and schedule freight space and carriers
• You liaise internally with the accounts, warehouse, dispatch and technical departments
• You process returns and credit notes

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) – or possess equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience
• You have professional experience in the field of exports and customs clearance
• You have knowledge of customs regulations
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German and a good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage
• You are characterised by a customer-focused approach and a corresponding level of commitment
• You possess strong communication skills and are confident on the telephone
• You are confident in using IT systems (Windows, word processing, spreadsheets)
• You are characterised by an independent and strategic approach to work, as well as a quick grasp of new concepts
• You possess a strong sense of responsibility and are keen to take on responsibility quickly
• You also hold a driving licence and own a car for commuting
