Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent checking, account assignment and system-side posting of all incoming and outgoing invoices in compliance with the applicable guidelines
  • In addition, you are responsible for the professional support and professional communication with the responsible tax office and the commissioned auditors
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparatory work and support in the preparation of legally compliant annual financial statements and quarterly financial statements for the entire company
  • Support in the optimisation of existing accounting processes is also part of your tasks, to ensure efficient processing of all business transactions
  • as part of your role, you will support the commercial management in preparing business analyses and statistical reports for internal committees
  • you will also support the team in maintaining master data and ensure complete documentation of all accounting-relevant transactions in the digital archiving system
  • finally, you will be responsible for reconciling the real and personal accounts and clarifying differences, to ensure a correct presentation of the financial situation


Requirements

  • You have successfully completed commercial training as an accountant (m/f/d), tax clerk (m/f/d) or office management assistant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in the field of financial accounting or accounting, ideally gained in a comparable cultural or public environment
  • Your solid knowledge of IT skills, especially in dealing with the DATEV programme and the common MS Office applications, are what make you particularly suitable for this position
  • Your written and spoken German language skills at native speaker level are essential for daily correspondence with authorities and precise documentation
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of reliability and discretion as well as a strong affinity for numbers for the error-free processing of sensitive financial data in your day-to-day work
  • Finally, you have a team-oriented personality and work in a structured and timely manner, in order to always reliably meet the specified deadlines for financial statements and reports
  • In addition to your professional expertise, you will also have a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany for this responsible position
