• You will be responsible for the operation, monitoring and ongoing development of the GIS platform based on ArcGIS Enterprise, FME Flow and the associated integration and data platforms
• You will be responsible for the integration of ArcGIS Enterprise, FME Flow, databases, interfaces and deployment pipelines into the existing corporate IT landscape
• You will be responsible for the provision, administration and support of central platform services, as well as for assisting specialist departments and geodata managers in their use of these services
• You will ensure service availability and handle incidents, problems and changes in accordance with ITIL standards
• You will carry out fault analyses independently and devise sustainable solutions to improve platform stability
• Your responsibilities also include the design, implementation, documentation and continuous optimisation of operational, support and administration processes
• In addition, you will manage external service providers, ensure that agreed service levels are met, and work closely with architecture, infrastructure, IT security and development teams on the further development of the platform

• You have a degree or vocational qualification in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Business Informatics or a comparable IT discipline, supplemented by relevant experience in the operation of business-critical applications
• You have a sound understanding of ITIL-based service management, particularly in change, incident, problem and release management
• You have already gained demonstrable experience with GIS platforms, ideally ArcGIS Enterprise, as well as a good knowledge of FME Flow / FME Form for automating geodata processes
• Relevant experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and the appropriate tools, ideally Azure DevOps, is essential for this role
• You are familiar with the operation of modern IT platforms, including cloud/hybrid architectures, web applications, APIs, integration interfaces and relational databases. Experience with MS Azure and MS SQL Server is an advantage
• You also have experience in monitoring, logging and troubleshooting complex IT systems (e.g. using Splunk, PRTG, Grafana or Prometheus) and an understanding of IT security concepts as well as authorisation and role models
• Excellent command of German and English (at least C1 level) and residence in Germany round off your profile
