We are looking for you to join our client in the steel industry in Baden-Baden as soon as possible as an **IT Support Analyst (m/f/d)** in direct placement.

Your responsibilities

• You will resolve IT-related issues such as software, hardware or network problems – whilst logging, tracking and prioritising incidents in the ticketing system
• You will be responsible for setting up, modifying and deactivating user accounts in systems such as Active Directory, and will assist with the installation, configuration and updating of software, using monitoring and management tools to proactively identify potential issues
• Your duties include providing updates and troubleshooting guidance to users, as well as escalating complex issues
• where necessary, to higher-level support teams, and documenting steps, solutions and frequently asked questions regarding troubleshooting to improve knowledge sharing
• You will also carry out minor repairs or coordinate these with hardware suppliers, and track IT assets to ensure that the company’s devices and peripherals are accounted for. You will regularly seek feedback from your colleagues and users to identify recurring issues or opportunities for improvement
• This also includes helping users understand IT systems, applications and best practices, as well as improving workflows and service desk processes
• Security and compliance are integral to your day-to-day work, as you ensure that users have the correct access permissions in accordance with security policies, comply with data protection regulations (GDPR, SOX) and protect sensitive information

What we’re looking for

• You have a degree or vocational qualification in information technology, for example as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d)
• Good technical knowledge and experience in a similar role are essential for successfully carrying out this role
• You are a strong team player and carry out your tasks independently, working autonomously with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• You are distinguished by your strong communication skills and customer service focus, as well as business-fluent German and English (minimum C1 level)
• For this role of responsibility, you must be resident near Baden-Baden
