For our client, a medium-sized company in the construction machinery industry in Weimar, we are looking for you as Payroll Accountant (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with takeover option.

Job description

  • You will prepare the monthly payroll on time and carry this out independently for the entire site in compliance with legal requirements
  • In addition, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining all relevant master data within the digital working time recording system for the entire team
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing the necessary reports to social insurance providers and preparing meaningful analyses for the management and HR management
  • Correspondence with health insurance companies, tax offices and other authorities as part of the certification process is also one of your daily and responsible tasks
  • as part of your job, you will support managers with business management issues and provide employees with competent advice on all individual payroll-related matters
  • you will also support the team in optimising internal HR processes and take on the careful documentation of all payroll-related processes in accordance with internal guidelines

Requirements

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in payroll accounting as well as up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax and social security law for a legally compliant way of working
  • Your sound knowledge of the common MS Office products as well as routine handling of payroll software characterise you in particular for this position in HR
