You will conduct tendering procedures for works, supply and service contracts within the central procurement unit; advise requesting departments on tendering options, taking into account the relevant legal framework; carry out market analyses; assess the suitability of potential tenderers and select the appropriate procurement procedure; you will also review draft specifications for comparability and plausibility, occasionally draw up specifications and an evaluation matrix, and carry out tendering procedures, including EU-wide tenders; you compile tender documents and dispatch or publish them, manage and monitor the schedule of tender deadlines, submission dates and award deadlines, and monitor ongoing tendering processes.
