Job description

  • You organise the processes and tasks in the repair shop and ensure that everything runs smoothly
  • You assist customers with all technical matters and act as a knowledgeable point of contact
  • You analyse customer orders with regard to the services requested, technical specifications and the relevant documentation and regulations
  • You carry out testing, diagnostics, fault-finding and root cause analysis on equipment and assemblies, whilst supporting staff
  • You carry out repairs, integrations, adjustments, calibrations and tests on specific types of equipment
  • You will document and evaluate findings as a basis for cost estimates and draw up repair reports for customers
  • You will act as the technical point of contact for staff in the repair shop, as well as for quality management, development and customers
  • You will contribute internally and externally to the definition of test procedures and test equipment
  • You will train staff in the repair shop on the assigned programmes
  • You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all types of equipment

Requirements

  • You have completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician (m/f/d), electrical engineer (m/f/d) or telecommunications technician (m/f/d), or hold a degree in electrical engineering, optoelectronics or telecommunications engineering
  • You have practical experience and a good knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
  • Experience in the Part 145 MRO environment is an advantage, but not a requirement
