• You will carry out repair work on parts and components independently, ensuring that the diesel locomotives function smoothly
• You will conscientiously carry out maintenance work in accordance with maintenance schedules
• Both accident investigations including detailed documentation and retrofitting, conversions as well as ballasting and de-ballasting measures on complete series are part of your area of activity
• you routinely master the installation of equipment and customer-specific special equipment such as country-specific driving safety systems
• you prepare the commissioning and provide active support during the commissioning of diesel locomotives
• measurement and testing of locomotive-specific components (e.g. wheel profiles, brake discs, brake discs, etc.)
• you are also responsible for the maintenance of the locomotives. components (e.g. wheel profiles, brake discs, track gauges) including careful documentation are part of your tasks

• Completed technical vocational training, e.g. as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or mechatronics technician (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
• several years of professional experience in the service or maintenance environment, ideally in the field of rail vehicles or mechanical engineering, is an advantage for you
• you have a good command of written and spoken German
• you are characterised by an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
