- You will be responsible for the overall planning and management of a sub-project relating to the construction of data centres
- You will also manage two teams responsible for developing concepts and designs, and coordinate collaboration with project management, other sub-projects and the client
- You will also be responsible for the timely implementation of requirements and for ensuring compliance with, and the further development of, the process for developing IT services
- You will draw up project plans, lead projects through to successful completion and report regularly within the project and programme organisation up to top management
- Furthermore, you will conduct lessons learnt workshops, document the results and incorporate them into the ongoing project organisation
- Ultimately, you will be responsible for comprehensive risk and quality management within the sub-project
Requirements
- You have a degree, for example in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
- You also have at least five years’ experience as a project manager on IT projects using traditional, hybrid or agile project management methods, during which you have managed complex projects lasting more than one year and involving at least 20 project team members; you also have at least five years’ professional experience as a project team member or consultant in the field of digitalisation relating to the Bundeswehr or a comparable public administration organisation
- you have at least two years’ experience in IT projects focusing on data centres or data centre infrastructure, at least two years’ proven experience in a senior project role in the development of IT services, as well as at least one year’s practical experience as a Scrum Master in agile or hybrid projects
