Job description

  • You will assume organisational responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of the public sewer network in strict compliance with all legal and technical requirements
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the efficient organisation of work and the technical instruction of the specialists under your supervision to ensure smooth operations
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the complete documentation, calculation and monitoring of all work orders as well as the detailed scheduling for cleaning and monitoring the wastewater structures
  • The standard-compliant TV inspection as well as the organisation and monitoring of maintenance measures and new connections including technical acceptance are also part of your diverse tasks
  • As part of your work, you will support the consistent implementation of fault management and the rapid elimination of accidents to maintain safety in the entire sewer network operation
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the needs-based organisation of all necessary operating resources such as equipment, tools and operating materials as well as operational readiness, tools and operating materials as well as the operational readiness of the specialised vehicle technology

Requirements

  • You have completed training as a wastewater foreman (m/f/d), specialist for wastewater technology (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification in the field of sewer construction (m/f/d) or environmental technology (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have initial sound professional experience in the utilities industry and ideally have knowledge of the maintenance of complex public drainage systems
  • You have a sound knowledge of the common MS Officeapplications as well as in dealing with geographical information systems (GIS) are what make you particularly suitable for this technical position
  • German language skills at native speaker level, both written and spoken, as well as your willingness to drive with driving licence classes B and C1/C1E are what make you stand out personally
  • Furthermore, you bring a high degree of responsibility and resilience for participation in on-call duty and a structured, solution-oriented way of working to your position, solution-orientated way of working in your team
  • Finally, you are an absolute team player and always work reliably and independently at the interface between technical planning and practical implementation on site
