• You promote and support people with physical, mental or psychological disabilities and accompany them through individualised measures to strengthen their independence and enable them to lead as independent a life as possible in everyday life
• You prepare educational and care measures and actively participate in leisure and daily activities, taking into account the type and degree of the respective disability
• You motivate your protégés to engage in meaningful leisure activities, such as painting, music or sport

• Observational accuracy and diligence, e.g. recognising changes in the behaviour of the people in your care, are among your professional strengths
• You manage the balancing act between empathic closeness and maintaining a professional distance when dealing with people with physical, mental or emotional disabilities
• Your driving licence and a car are desirable, but not essential
