Machine Operator, Laser Department (m/f/d)

• You will be responsible for operating and monitoring laser systems to carry out cutting, welding and marking processes in accordance with operational requirements
• This involves ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the laser systems, including regular inspections, cleaning and, where necessary, troubleshooting, is your responsibility
• You will also be responsible for programming/customising the laser systems and setting up the punching tools to achieve precise, high-quality results
• You will monitor the flow of materials and production to ensure the smooth running of laser-based processes
• Furthermore, your responsibilities will include quality control of the produced parts, including measurements on the Keyence BJ2020, visual inspections and, where necessary, parameter adjustments
• You will carry out deburring (e.g. on a Timesaver, model year 2016) and roll straightening on an ARKU straightening machine (model year 2021)
• You will also ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures when working with laser systems, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to environmental protection measures
• Last but not least, you will be responsible for documenting workflows, process parameters and quality results

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship or hold a comparable qualification in the field of laser or waterjet technology
• In addition, you have already gained at least 3–5 years’ experience in operating laser systems and have knowledge of how they work
• Ideally, you will also have programming skills in TruTops for customising and controlling the laser system
• Your understanding of technical drawings, specifications and materials is also an asset
• You have also acquired knowledge of health and safety and environmental protection measures when working with laser systems
• Proficiency in spoken German and a valid work permit are also advantageous
• You are willing to work shifts and are flexible regarding your working hours
• You are characterised by a meticulous approach to your work, with a keen eye for detail and quality
