• You will prepare annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) – on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• You will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting as part of day-to-day bookkeeping
• You will process advance VAT returns and work closely with tax advisers
• Reporting tasks such as business performance analyses, liquidity planning and analyses for senior management fall within your remit
• As the point of contact for auditors and banks, you will continuously optimise accounting processes

• You have a degree in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling, or a comparable qualification, such as a completed commercial apprenticeship or further training as an accountant (m/f/d)
• You have at least 5 years’ relevant experience in financial accounting
• You have in-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and, where applicable, IFRS, as well as a confident handling of annual accounts and tax law
• You are proficient in using accounting software such as DATEV, SAP and MS Office (particularly Excel)
• fluency in German is essential
