• You programme the system control and the relevant process parameters independently and according to specifications
• You set up the respective system precisely in accordance with the technical specifications
• You qualify the coated optics using standard measurement technology, for example a spectrophotometer, and reliably document the results
• You introduce new processes together with Coating Development and ensure smooth implementation
• During the coating process, you continuously monitor the process parameters such as temperature, pressure, deposition rate and plasma properties to ensure consistent quality

• You have completed training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), precision optician (m/f/d), precision mechanic (m/f/d) or in a comparable technical specialisation.
• Alternatively, you have practical experience in activities with high fine motor precision, also from non-technical professional fields
• You have already acquired basic knowledge in the field of vacuum or coating technology
• The careful handling of sensitive materials is just as important to you as enthusiasm for demanding and detail-oriented assembly work
• You have basic PC skills and demonstrate communication and teamwork skills.knowledge and demonstrate communication and teamwork skills
• You have a good command of spoken German and valid working papers
