- You select the appropriate tools and metal blanks, which you then clamp professionally
- Your tasks include entering the production parameters and retrieving and adapting the CNC programmes so that you can optimally control the production process
- You ensure flawless machining by precisely aligning workpieces and machines
- You closely monitor the machining process, especially on lathes, milling, drilling or grinding machines, and ensure that everything runs smoothly
- Your intermediate measurements and quality checks ensure continuous compliance with the required standards
- It goes without saying that you check the dimensions, tolerances and surface quality of the workpieces
- If deviations occur, you correct them in a targeted manner, you rectify these in a targeted manner and ensure that the production quality is maintained
- Regular inspections and machine maintenance are also part of your area of responsibility
- You get to the bottom of faults in accordance with defined test procedures and rectify them independently
Requirements
- Possession of a driving licence is not a prerequisite for you, as the location can be easily reached by public transport
- You show willingness to work in a three-shift system
- You have completed training as a cutting machine operator (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification
- Your experience in the metal industry is welcome, but not a mandatory requirement
- With your careful and precise way of working, you are convincing in everyday work
- You have a good knowledge of German and a valid work permit
