• You will be responsible for the technical and managerial leadership of the Finance and Controlling department, as well as for bringing together two motivated teams
• You will also be responsible for all finance and accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting and general ledger accounting, as well as the preparation of annual financial statements
• Furthermore, you will oversee commercial controlling and actively manage business, financial and investment planning, as well as ongoing forecasts
• Your responsibilities will also include the design and further development of a modern, digital reporting system incorporating key performance indicator systems and modern BI systems
• As part of your role, you will actively support the management team as a strategic sparring partner on all business and financial matters
• Furthermore, you will assist in the preparation for and conduct of budget and remuneration negotiations with funding bodies, in close coordination with the Controlling department
• Finally, you will be responsible for contributing to strategic projects aimed at targeted revenue optimisation, internal process improvement and comprehensive commercial digitalisation

• You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration (m/f/d), health economics (m/f/d) or a comparable academic qualification
• you also have several years’ professional and managerial experience in finance and accounting or controlling, ideally within a hospital
• You are distinguished by your in-depth knowledge of hospital finance and the relevant legal framework, such as the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the Hospital Act (KHG)
• Your solid knowledge of modern IT systems, standard ERP solutions and advanced BItools for data analysis round off your profile
• You have native-level written and spoken German, as well as confident and context-appropriate communication skills
• Furthermore, you possess a high degree of analytical ability, a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a structured, solution-oriented approach to your work
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
