Your responsibilities

• You’ll read technical drawings and design plans, and clean, deburr and adjust metal parts
• You’ll align components precisely and secure them with initial weld spots (tacking)
• You will select and adjust the appropriate welding technique (e.g. MAG, MIG, TIG or manual arc welding) depending on the material and requirements
• You will join metal structures, sheet metal, containers or pipework professionally by welding
• You will remove weld spatter, grind down weld seams and inspect the welded joints both visually and technically for cracks or pores
• You maintain, clean and look after welding equipment and tools

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), metal fabricator (m/f/d), machining mechanic (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You have experience in welding
• Furthermore, you can read technical drawings and work to them
• A basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written, is a key strength of yours
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work in a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and safe approach to work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
