• In this role, you will carry out back-office tasks relating to complex electricity contracts, including PPAs, BESS transactions and associated ancillary services, to ensure smooth trading operations
• You will prepare, review and process complex settlements and invoices to ensure an accurate and timely flow of payments with counterparties, grid operators and internal stakeholders
• You will carry out business reviews, trade validations and data quality checks, and assist with contract interpretation and operational set-up in the relevant systems
• You will investigate and resolve settlement enquiries, payment discrepancies and volume or price discrepancies, as well as handle exceptions and operational incidents
• You will work closely with teams from the Front Office, Origination, Risk, Credit, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal, IT and other departments to ensure that operational requirements are understood and implemented
• You will ensure that strict controls, evidence, documentation and KPI monitoring are maintained to support audit readiness, governance and process transparency
• You will identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes in light of the ongoing growth in PPA and BESS volumes
• You will support new product, system and change initiatives through operational input, testing support and comprehensive process expertise

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics, finance or a comparable qualification
• You have relevant professional experience in settlement, gained in a trading organisation, back office, commodities trading or a comparable operational environment
• You have a strong knowledge of IT and experience using SAP, Endur, Microsoft Office, reporting, automation and data tools
• Your profile includes a good command of written and spoken German, as well as fluency in English
• A valid work permit is required
• You are resident in Germany and also hold a valid residence permit
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a structured approach to work, as well as strong teamwork skills and reliability round off your profile
