Press Machine Set-up Operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will set up and calibrate mechanical and hydraulic presses for production
• You will install and adjust tools for stamped and precision-stamped parts
• You carry out the first-piece inspection and authorise series production
• During production, you monitor the series and make readjustments to the press and tooling
• In the event of minor faults with the press or tooling, you will carry out maintenance and troubleshooting
• You will document your work steps and test results in accordance with quality management guidelines
• You will continuously check the settings and parameters on the presses and adjust them as required
• You will ensure the tools are stored and maintained correctly

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a toolmaker (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or precision mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have experience in setting up and preparing mechanical or hydraulic presses
• You have a technical understanding of stamping and fine-blanking tools
• You are known for your precise and meticulous work when installing and adjusting tools
• You have a strong focus on quality and take great care in documenting work in accordance with QM guidelines
• You find it easy to independently identify and rectify minor faults on presses and tools
• You are available to work shifts
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German
• A valid work permit is required
